Well, I went out and Auctioned the Genuine Sun-on-a-stick. I was very lucky to find a Genuine Collector during the auction, and achieved a massive gain.

Yeah... I just went out and bought another 6 pans from Sexy Servant. And we've come to a little agreement. See, I can only find things when I get lucky. Servant however, seems to be able to find things a lot easier. They find it for a scrap? They're selling them to me for 1.5 scrap. I'm going to be selling them for 2 scrap or as much as I possibly can! If I can get more than 2 scrap for a single pan, I'll be taking it without a second thought.

Oh, I'm a comedian.

But my humour isn't what you guys are here for, now is it? Of course it isn't. But I thought I'd like to show you guys a little bit of investment.

Yes. I conducted this trade. 15 frying pans at 1.5 scrap each.

"But Koda, Why would you buy so many frying pans!?" Well, lets look at things this way. I know that people are interested in buying Frying pans, at 2 scrap each. Sometimes more. Selling one Frying Pan for 2 scrap, would mean a profit of 1 weapon. Half a scrap. Thats not much of a profit, is it? But I'm not selling just one Frying Pan. I'm selling 17. When traded for 2 scrap each, that is a total profit of 17 weapons. 8.5 scrap, and (approximately) 2.66 reclaimed metal. Almost a refined in profit. This brings up one of my tips for trading.

If you can make even a remote profit, do it. Whether that means its a free weapon on top, or what, it is irrelevant. I'm not saying that you should trade a weapon for another weapon and a crate at any chance you get. Make sure it has some added gain. If someone offers you 8 crates for 1 weapon, do it. someone will want those crates for maybe a weapon each. Maybe 2 crates for a weapon. You're making a reclaimed profit somehow? Do the deal. Make sure you know you can gain from a deal. If you can't gain from it, then make damn well sure you're going to use it. Sexy Servant (The person I traded here) is smart. They told me that they bought those pans for a scrap each. I bought them for 1.5 scrap each. They earned almost a refined, on those. I intend to do the same. I'll be making a refined profit on these pans, because they are a Promotional item, and even though the Frying Pans are worth little, some people will happily pay for them.

Its been a long time

And that is because I've had no trades. I admit it! I've hit a slump!

With this, we should simply give up, right?

Wrong.

I decided that, instead of just using Team Fortress 2 to trade, and advertise there, I would do some shopping myself. And oh boy. While I already knew about the TEAM FORTRESS 2 WAREHOUSE (www.tf2wh.com) and the TEAM FORTRESS 2 OUTPOST (www.tf2outpost.com) I had no idea about the TEAM FORTRESS 2 TRADING POST (www.tf2tp.com)

Through the TF2WH website, I sold the Strange Atomizer for (I'm rounding it off here) 1,000 credits, which is a little bit less than a reclaimed (1,350 credits). But from the Strange Atomizer, I obtained a Strange Eyelander (500 credits) and 2 Frying Pans (250 credits each) So I broke around about even. I feel that selling at Atomizer was a very smart move. I bought 2 frying pans for a single weapon each. Do you guys remember what I obtained last time I sold a Frying Pan?

I'm trying to sell the Sun-On-A-Stick, but its really not going well. It might end up in the warehouse too. Might buy a hat from it. The Team Fortress 2 Warehouse is a very good site. If used well, you could easily obtain credits, but used wrong, you could very easily lose your hard earned weapons, hats, miscs, and anything else I may have forgotten. Also? Using the TF2 Warehouse Credits system, if we sold everything that we had currently, we would be able to successfully obtain 30,000 credits. This is a substantial profit from the 200 credit Buffalo Steak Sandvich we first started with. In fact, we have MULTIPLIED OUR VALUE BY 150!

We will see what we obtain for the Genuine Sun. I'm hoping for 2 refined, because it appears the price has dropped to 1.66 refined. If we manage to turn 7,700 credits into 8800, I'll be very content with this.

Cosa Nostra Cap (Clean)

Lets look at this another way. From a Frying Pan, worth maybe 2-3 scrap metal, I went to a Fosters Facade, worth a refined, to a Cosa Nostra Cap, worth 1.66 refined, and a couple of Dirty Hats which I normally try and sell for a reclaimed metal each, regardless (I don't like Dirty hats, so I quicksell them). All in all, I made a 2 refined profit in the space of a couple of hours. On the same server.

I might also tell you guys a new way to do trades, and thats by AUCTIONING the item, first starting at a low price, then letting everyone jack it up. I started the Vintage Fosters Facade Auction at a reclaimed metal, because that would've been a 5 weapon profit on its own. Soon enough, Everyone begins to bid what they want to trade for it. Once everyone shuts up, you take the offer YOU THINK is worth the most. I was looking at a refined metal for standard selling, but through a gamble, I managed to pull an extra refined. I wouldn't suggest this method unless you knew that there were either A: Desperate people who wanted that item, or B: a 50% chance you would breakeven + a 45% chance you'll come out ahead. If you're smart in trading, you can easily trade a key for 3 refined, when they're worth about 2.44 at the moment.

Well, we did a good trade today, after a long time of nothing.

That frying pan is no more, and in its place... a very nice VINTAGE

This Fosters Facade is a Killing Floor Misc item, and i can see this going for 1.33 refined at the most. This is a substantial profit. And I think I might RAFFLE this hat, so lets see what happens!
